The most famous hotels are full of green initiatives too. The Novotel Monte-Carlo has beehives on its roof; the Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo has financed and organised the reforestation of a nearby hill after it suffered serious forest fires and the hotel Monte-Carlo Bay grows a large part of its products in its own garden, probably the most chic vegetable garden of the Côte d’Azur.

Still in an ecological approach the delicious Monaco orange liquor it is now made from the oranges remains of the local hotels.
