The Bulgari Hotel London Announces Breakthrough Women Film Series

STARTING soon and running through till May this year the Bulgari Hotel London‘s cinema will host a series of four preview film screenings championing young female filmmakers and female-driven storylines. Opening with the sundance critically acclaimed Westwood: Punk, Icon, Activist directed by Lorna Tucker the series is set to impress. The first show is already sold out so we’d advise purchasing your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Not only does this series provide the unique opportunity to view a pre-release film but you’ll also be able to experience an intimate access to the backstory of each project. Each screening is followed by a live Q&A with the director or leading member of the film’s cast. The ticket also includes canapés, champagne and wine before the film. Ranging from the first biopic to encompass the remarkable story of Dame Vivienne Westwood’s style and activism. To the French film Jeane Femme, winner of the Camera d’Or at Cannes 2017 and starring Laetitia Dosch and directed by Leonor Serraille. To the critically acclaimed film Blame written, directed and starring Quinn Shephard, the series shines a vital spotlight on inspirational women in the arts industry.

Tickets can be bought exclusively at Eventbrite in exchange for a £10 donation to Bulgari’s chosen charity, Save the Children.

Canapes, champaign and wine are served from 6.30pm. Each showing will commence at 7.15pm.
