The authentic menu features a wide selection of beautifully presented hot and cold starters – all accompanied by lashings of Abd El Wahab’s renowned home made houmous. Included in the line-up are stuffed vine leaves and a variety of freshly prepared salads, all with a Middle Eastern flavour.

Vegetarian, fish and meat-based main courses should be ordered as sharing platters, ensuring the dining experience is totally immersive. Tender meats are seared and cooked fresh to order over their charcoal grill and exemplary service echoes the quality of the food.

The unique Abd el Wahab wine selection includes Lebanese wines from vineyards dating back to the 1850s, some of which have stored in caves outside of Beirut, which were originally used by the Romans for their winemaking.

The Lebanese architects Antoine Tabet and Associates, Beirut, designed the light and airy 120-cover restaurant, which is housed within a spacious two-floor Georgian building.
