THE perfect conclusion to another successful London Fashion Week, Edeline Lee and Glass Magazine held a party at Onima Restaurant in Mayfair. Following Edeline Lee’s AW19 stunning presentation that had occurred earlier in the day, fashion favourites gathered together to celebrate the finale of LFW with a night of entertainment. The air was filled with the sound of clinking glasses, laughter and music – yet another great party.
Glass was proud to welcome El Conchitas as our DJ for the night; famous for her residency at London’s renowned Popstarz club alongside her radio show, Hot Jukebox, she became popular following her success with her band Elena which captured London, Europe and the US. The DJ has also been known to have been requested for exclusive launch parties from the likes of Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein. Furthermore, her appearances stretch far and wide, having DJ-ed in New York, L.A., Cape Town, Goa and China.
Drinks were provided by D1 London Spirits using their super smooth gin and potato vodka products combined with and DJ’s Cold Infusions. D1 London Gin balances long elegant flavours of juniper berries with delicate notes of citrus peels and spice combined with the subtle undertones of nettle. D1 Potato Vodka is smooth and velvety with all of the unfiltered sweetness of the potatoes natural white chocolate and vegetal flavour. DJ’s Cold Infusions are a product that infuses hand-blended natural botanical flavours into drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – making sure you are cocktail-ready at any time.
Merchant’s Heart Spirit Enhancers specialising in elevating alcoholic beverages with their range of mixers to make sure the party was extraordinary. Bringing two mixers along: their Light Tonic Water, Ginger Ale, they were a hit at elevating the already brilliant drinks.
Located in a historic five-storey townhouse in Mayfair, Onima is a luxurious new restaurant and bar that brings the essence of Mykonos to London. With its magical Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, gorgeous décor and exemplary service, it’s a place for those seeking both pleasure and thrills, an experience for all five senses. Serving delicious D1 gin cocktails and expertly crafted canapés across both floors, the soirée was truly magical as this past week.
Organised by I AM ROCKSTAR, the party was perfectly planned; their expertise lent themselves to create an atmosphere fit for only fashion’s finest. There were no problems or forgotten details as the company guaranteed the night would be a victory – and we are confident to say that it was nothing less than exactly that.
The party action was captured by Toby Shaw, a portrait and fashion photographer renowned for his dynamic, yet raw style using medium film format.
As it is also the 10-year anniversary of Glass Magazine, it was the perfect excuse to surround ourselves with friends, family and all those who have supported us over the years. With a drink in our hand, we danced the night and a week of London Fashion Week stress away. Glass was delighted to have collaborated with Lee and her eponymous label, we are looking forward to her next collection, the continuing fashion week season and our next 10 years. Cheers!
