LAST night, fashion’s elite descended on the Brooklyn Museum to celebrate outstanding contributions made to the world of style. The Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards are an annual celebration of the fashion industry’s biggest names, honouring figures from the top designers to the most prominent celebrity influencers.
Stars including Gigi Hadid, Laura Harrier and Amber Heard took to the recycled monochrome carpet to showcase looks from established and emerging designers, before the evening’s award ceremony commenced. The Media Award went to Vogue editor in chief Edward Enninful, while Naomi Campbell was crowned Fashion Icon and Kim Kardashian received the Influencer Award. A member’s salute went to Ralph Lauren, and Womenswear Designer of the Year was awarded to Raf Simons of Calvin Klein.
While the international fashion community celebrated the industry’s greatest trendsetters, Glass has selected some of the best looks on display from last night’s red carpet.
