A collaboration with Sophie Turner seemed a natural fit, as this is not the first time she has worked with Louis Vuitton or its creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. The Game of Thrones actress has previously starred as the face of the brand, as well as attending the 2017 Met Gala as one of Ghesquière’s dates. Turner was fist attracted to Ghesquière’s empowering womenswear for Louis Vuitton – often wearing his designs both on and off the red carpet – and he was inspired by her portrayal as strong female character Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones. This mutual admiration for one another inevitably sparked an enviable friendship and creative partnership.
