The V&A museum have unveiled that knitwear collective SIBLING will be the latest subject of the museum’s Fashion In Motion project. Four free catwalk shows will take place on Friday November 21 to showcase the fashion brand’s menswear efforts and signature style. Formed by Sidney Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery in 2008, the brand have long since adopted a number of eclectic motifs which can now be seen in full at the V&A.
The London based designers have chosen a number of menswear pieces to show in the Fashion in Motion event which reinterpret the lengths knitwear can be taken. To this end the V&A have suggested that they are “looking forward to showing audiences that today’s knitwear is more than novelty Christmas jumpers and grey V-necks; that it can be fun, joyful, rebellious and young at heart”. Akin to this, the V&A have come fourth to say “We’re delighted to feature pieces from their spectacular menswear collections.”
Admission to Fashion in Motion: Sibling is FREE but a booking fee will apply. Tickets will be available to book from Monday 10 November here.
