Glass celebrates Chinese New Year in Hong Kong with Edoardo Caovilla of Renè Caovilla

THIRD generation Venetian master shoe-maker and Creative Director of the Renè Caovilla brand, Edoardo Caovilla will return to Hong Kong this week in advance of Chinese New Year. A truly family-run Italian business, Renè Caovilla been producing exquisite hand-crafted shoes since 1950. Having joined the family business in 2009, Edoardo has committed to developing the brand into being one of the world’s most celebrated luxury accessories brands.

In celebration of the launch of the auspicious Rooster capsule collection, in homage to both the forthcoming Chinese New Year celebrations and the Year of the Rooster on January 28, Edoardo will share his unique insight into how Renè Caovilla have successfully embraced the Asian market in an up-close discussion with Glass Magazine.

The talk is part of the Up Close series of conversations at Hong Kong’s Upper House Hotel. The ballet flat premieres on Caovilla’s ecommerce site and is available in retail stores now.
