Puma and MCM launch limited-edition collection for 50th anniversary of Suede

IN TRIBUTE to the founding days of hip hop, collaboration between Puma and luxury leather specialist MCM reinvents the Suede classics in light of their 50th anniversary. The iconic shoes that witnessed many defining moments in history, from the endorsement in the 1968 Olympics Black Power salute to the development of B-Boy culture, are now redeveloped in a limited-edition selection of luxury footwear and apparel.

Synthesising streetwear and exclusivity, new Suede carries the signature Visetos canvas, a symbol of fashion and creativity in MCM since 1976, and bears the gleaming MCM logo and a unique registration number on each pair. The shoes are available in classic cognac, white, or red-blue multicolour with two distinct types of coordinated laces: leather with contrasting edge-stain and fabric with metal tips.

The classic T7 ensemble of the German sportswear brand also proudly displays the MCM logo and the Visetos pattern, reminiscing on the classics yet reflecting the new urban spirit of day. With swag and sophistication, Puma T7 track jacket and pants are offered in classic cognac and exclusive MCM red-blue multicolour.
