Prada Pre-Fall 2015 Campaign launches

Prada’s staple campaign photographer Steven Meisel shoots this year’s pre-fall collection once again, playing with the ambiguities and asymmetries that men and women share. Couples are either aloof or intimately intertwined, staring out at the viewer with an air of cool detachment. The neutral grey backdrop complements the largely charcoal and black ensembles in iconic Prada nylon and wool.

Prada has always explored gender complexities and contradictions, and this season they are suggested through subtle details in the clothing and styling. An epaulette on a men’s shirt becomes an oversized bow on a woman’s dress, or vice versa.
