FOUND in only the most exclusive locations, and heralded as a pioneering skincare brand, Natura Bissé has selected London as the site for its first ever spa. Specifically, the prestigious Spanish line has made Westfield its home, choosing to occupy an exclusive area of the shopping destination called The Village, where over 35 high luxury fashion stores can be found.

Being situated between Gucci and Burberry can never be a bad thing, and that’s where you will find the discreet entrance to the Natura Bissé Spa. Flooded with golden beige hues and a serene white wash, it’s a beautiful, architectural space.
After being greeted warmly by the pleasant staff, and brought a delicious cup of tea, I was taken into the swish treatment room to get down to business. I was there to try the Diamond Cocoon Experience, a recently launched facial that seeks to combat the effects of pollution. The treatment has already become a favourite with the Red Carpet brigade, due to its transformative effects. Centering around high-grade peels, which encourage new skin formation as well as a killer glow, this is certainly a results-driven experience.

One of the most pleasing aspects of the facial is that it is methodical in its approach – four clear steps that involve a prebiotic cleanse, a strengthening super-concentrate, a repairing mask, and an invisible protective shield. All of the products used, from the Diamond Cocoon range, consist of clever ingredients that seek to balance the skin. A special Diamond Cocoon Sculpting Tool was also used to encourage absorption, and it felt delightful on the skin.

The facial might be focused on getting a superior glow through an intensive removal of toxins, but the treatment is certainly still wonderfully therapeutic. The products are applied using elegant brushes, which feel like a massage in itself, and the textures of the gels and creams applied are of superlative quality. An hour later, my skin looked truly impressive.

Shopping at Westfield, arguably the city’s most pleasurable mall destination, has just become even better with the arrival of this chic spa. It allows one to get groomed thoroughly with high performing products – and with plenty of ease. The treatment menu is comprehensive, allowing you to indulgently take your time, or be done in half an hour if you’re looking for an express visit – whatever suits.
Londoners should be counting themselves lucky that Natura Bissé chose The Village for its first stand-alone spa in the world. Regular visits to White City will now become a neccessity.
