The collection has a sense of aristocratic attire, illustrated through tailcoat blazers, intricate gold embroidery and a parade of baroque print patterning. Accessories of tint-lens aviators, leather gloves and bold bow ties look fitting with the fur coats, bejewelled loafers and sequinned trousers  that become most arresting at the Milan menswear show. Turning the dial-up on the monarchy theme that has dominated the direction of Dolce and Gabbana as of late, AW18 features the fan-favourite fellas in crowns and encrusted lapel tuxedos, connoting absolute luxury.

Within the midst of such striking looks, a Glass favourite from the crowd of over 100 outfits is the velvet robe-inspired blazers. Taking the recent trend of nightwear for daytime looks, the blazers feature a gown-inspired belt attached to the blazer, creating trends in formal-wear sure to be seen on the red-carpet in the upcoming months.
