The latest Miu Miu‘s advertising campaign for SS15 has been released. The campaign was shot in New York by photographer Steven Meisel and features three young rising screen stars – Mia Goth who appeared in Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac: Volume II, Imogen Poots mostly known for her role in 28 Weeks Later and Marine Vacth from Young & Beautiful. The whole atmosphere of the images is very cinematic, as if they were stills from a film or as if the viewer was only catching a glimpse of an ongoing film scene through a door left ajar. The setting looks as if the characters were in their homes, all dressed up they seem to be just leaving or arriving.

There are three ongoing stories of three women which we know are somehow inter-connected. And the Miu Miu clothes is the narrative force that helps telling the tale to the audience and to make the link between the stories. This way Miu Miu shows fashion as a communicator of ideas.
