MFWM AW22: Brunello Cucinelli

MARKING the beginning of a new season, Brunello Cucinelli’s AW22 collection is the starting gun for the arrival of what is to come in menswear later on this year. Taking an in-depth look into the meaning of journeys, the realm of opportunities and exchanges they provide have been used as inspiration for the Italian brand’s new outlook.

Specifically looking at the crossroads of where the urban world with its freedom meets the modern take on tradition, style and occasion reflect, balance and evolve for AW22.

Taking the elegant neutral palette of beige, grey and blue and harmonising these hues with injections of carrot orange, pomegranate red and eucalyptus green, patterns and textures are enriched highlighting a new wave of optimism for the second half of this year.

Cucinelli’s designs are always realistic. They are created to be worn, with comfort and ease balancing luxury fabrics and silhouettes allowing its wearer to ease from day to night.

Merging elegant sartorial lines with modern leisurewear, peacoats, down jackets and denim trousers are seen alongside tweed-like knitwear, jacquard inlays and délavé effects on corduroy to refine and emphasise the craftsmanship at the fashion house.
