For his AW14 show Matther Miller  asked 10 people from different social circumstances to write a short text describing their everday reality, both dreams and problems. Written by employed and unemployed people in the creative industries, the paragraphs delve into the random insecurities of human nature. Miller took selected parts of these musings and used them to create a highly emotive collection.

Fabrics and textures play key roles throughout the AW14 collection. Miller worked with Danish fabric experts Kvadrat on producing exciting combinations through the use of clashing materials, hand sewn together. This innovative play on techniques really shines on the navy fitted and wadded Harrington jackets and the oversized sweats.

Collection was a lot cleaner and grown up than previous with most items being now buyer worthy and sure to see him set aside a strong section of all notable men’s fashion boutiques.

Key items:
– Signature logo plasticol sweat shirt and tees
– High technical sweats
– Zip back detail as key on both men’s and women’s
– Black tenting fabric cape
