IN COLLABORATION with Timberland, British designer Christopher Ræburn released his Spring/Summer 2019 collection at LMFW. The designer who is known for his functional menswear designs, often made by reworking surplus fabrics, delivered a show true to his innovative and sustainable image, carrying the name REACT NOW.
The collection of sporty silhouettes carried an authentic athletic feel, with functional outerwear in bold red, blue, white, black, grey and transparent material. While a outdoorsy vibe was present in most of the clothing, the collection also had a cool city boy flare to it. This is the first collection of collaborations between Christopher Ræburn and well known international retailer Timberland, tracksuits with the Timberland logo scattered in large print was one of the most notable looks of the collaboration.
True to brand Ræburn gave his take on the logomania trend by featuring logos on items that read “Reuse,” “Recycle” or “Remake”. This could be seen throughout the show on outwear, bag straps and zippers.
