LC:M Burberry Prorsum SS15

The sun is shining on day three at London Collections Men! And the wonderful atmosphere has all been perfectly arranged by the team at Burberry. Set in Kensington Gardens, the weather and the collection just could not have been any better.

Like a sleepy stroll in a wondrous English garden, Bailey always paints a romantic Arcadian picture of craftsmanship, modernity and chic beauty. An electric live singer and pianist Benjamin Clementine adorns the front of the catwalk with roaring cat-like vocals that send shivers up and down the audiences’ spines.

The summer palette is magnificent – emeralds, fuschia, wines and khakis – all in rich lustrous tones set on clean trenches, four pockets, chambray jackets and tapered suiting.

Print is injected through calligraphy encrypted folios, bright sneakers and luggage totes. The raw denim trench coats look new for the brand and the long silk scarves will be the shoulder throw blankets of this season.

The roaring applause for the artist and the designer as the show closes do nothing to bring you out of the trance that Christopher Bailey, the atmosphere and the clothing put you into!
