Laura Mercier teams up with Ovarian Cancer Action

Those fond of beauty with a good cause behind it will no doubt welcome Laura Mercier’s three new launches, 100 per cent of the profits are being donated to the brand’s Ovarian Cancer Fund (LMOCF). An often overlooked, yet deadly disease (accounting for more deaths than any other type of gynaecological cancer), founder Laura Mercier herself got involved after a close friend was affected. She set up the fund in 2012 in the US with Claudia Poccia, President and CEO of Gurwitch Products whose younger sister tragically died from the disease aged 39.

Kiss of Hope Lip Glacé and Matte Radiance Healthy Glow Baked Powder and Mini Brush

Throughout this month, all Laura Mercier counters will be covered in teal to support the fund. The newly-launched LMOCF products include Bonne Mine Healthy Glow for Face and Cheeks Crème Colour Palette, £37 a perfect palette for bestowing a healthy glow, with a Bronzer Veil to pep up a pasty or ashy complexion, two Cheek Veils to add a pretty flush of colour and two Glow Veils to highlight and contour.

The kit also comes with a handy pull-out guide for perfect application. There is also a pretty pink Kiss of Hope Lip Glacé, £19 with a pleasant caramel scent and a Matte Radiance Healthy Glow Baked Powder and Mini Brush, £24 to illuminate areas such as the cheeks, brow bone and bridge of the nose – a perfect summer make-up bag essential. Each product also comes with a useful leaflet about ovarian cancer and how to spot the symptoms.

The three products are available now from Laura Mercier counters nationwide at or at her site. A total of 100 per cent of profits will be donated to the Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Fund. For more information about the fund, visit here Learn more about the disease at ovarian.org.uk.
