Jo Malone London launches the English Oak Collection

WITH the start of autumn nearly upon us, Jo Malone London has launched two new fragrances to celebrate the season of falling leaves. The English Oak Collection comprises of English Oak and Redcurrant, a rich and sweet scent with redcurrant top notes and a rose scented heart; and English Oak and Hazelnut, which in contrast is a much heavier, woody scent, dominated by top notes of green hazelnut with a heady spicy cedar wood heart. The use of oak as an ingredient in both fragrances is a unique concept bringing a smoky, deep and smooth fragrance to the mix.

English Oak Collection

Originally, Yann Vasnier the French master perfumer and creator of both fragrances, embarked on developing only one fragrance, English Oak and Hazelnut. However, when he blended it with other essences, notably the sweet punchy redcurrant, the fragrance took on a more fruity character, which developed into a separate scent alongside the original English Oak & Hazelnut. Both fragrances can be worn alone or layered together for a heady, deeper and seductive scent. And so the birth of two new enchanting fragrances was created from the English Oak, encapsulating the very essence of nature.
