The Les Mains line features five all-new beauty products and accompanying accessories – an Hermès branded nail file and a leather carousel trunk for nail varnish storage. Hermès has a product for every step of the nail polish routine from preemptive care to top coat.
First things first. Hermès has developed a luxurious hand cream that protects and repairs the user’s skin and nails. Made in France and composed of 98 per cent natural ingredients, the cream is Cosmos Natural certified.
It is a perfect foundational step with active ingredients such as white mulberry extract, the hallmark of Hermès beauty, and hyaluronic acid that rejuvenates and preps the skin and nails for nail varnish application.

Subsequent steps in the Les Mains nail care routine include the cuticle nourishing oil and enamel base coat. These two products from Hermès equip the nails for a flawless polish application while simultaneously hydrating and fortifying the nails’ enamel and surrounding skin. The cuticle oil contains vital ingredients such as mastic resin tears, vitamin E, and mulberry extract, similar to the elements in the enamel base coat.
Pierre Hardy, the creator of Hermès Beauty objects, justifies the design of the nail enamel bottle as so “while the lipstick is masked, concealed inside its robe of light, the design of the nail enamel reveals the colour and texture of the product inside its glass bottle”.
The outside of the bottle is as beautiful as the nail varnish on the inside. It is available in 24 brilliant shades – twenty-four being a nod to 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Hermès’ address in Paris since 1880.
