Glass tries, tests and loves NeoStrata Foaming Glycolic Wash

IF you’re one of those millions of people that are starting to run out of blemish treatments to try, I hate to say that there’s one more on the list, but this one’s a good one. The NeoStrata Foaming Glycolic Wash is exactly what the name implies. It’s a wash that pumps out as foam and makes your skin feel all tingly as you use it to remove all the dirt and gunk that gets into your pores. It is also used by the model and entrepreneur Elle Macpherson every day.

The wash gently exfoliates the skin, to the point where you don’t really feel it removing the dead cells as you rub it into your skin. It stimulates cell renewal and really does a wonder on the hard to remove blackheads that you’ve been trying to hide under concealer.

Glycolic Acid and Lactobionic Acid are the two main components in the wash so it does have a bit of a citrus-y alcoholic scent when you first put it on – so just be extra careful around the eyes. I’ve found that it does pull out some of the make-up that didn’t come off the night before and leaves my skin feeling firm and clean.

No matter how many times you use it, it always leaves that fresh clean tingle on the skin that makes you want to twirl through fields of wildflowers and try to rinse with cold water to keep those pores nice and tight. It’s a quality wash that will clear up the impurities, but it doesn’t hurt to follow up with some moisturiser.
