Glass tests UpCircle sustainable skincare

UPCIRCLE is a young London company, started by two siblings it ticks all the planet saving boxes, with their refillable, zero waste, fully sustainable packaging and health giving vegan, plant based beauty products. UpCircle’s dedication to reusing high quality, cleverly salvaged ingredients such as Argan shells, chai tea spices, coffee grounds, fruit waters, oils and stones as a basis to create innovative and desirable skin care, is truly admirable.

Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint  220ML   £14.99

This exfoliating scrub is so luxurious,  potent with scents and textures it works superbly, cleansing and invigorating the skin, while brightening my mood. The coffee grounds and sea salt in the mixture can   feel bit messy at times, as we are so used to pale coloured, bland products that fit neatly into plastic containers.

This stuff is fun and sloughs away any dead skin cells fast, while it’s moisturising ingredients, such as shea butter and coconut oils restored my skin to it’s meant to be, silky smooth self. Particularly lovely on feet, knees and elbows, the peppermint and eucalyptus oils adding a little sparkle to my day.

Toner Both Upricrlce

Face Toner with Mandarin and Camomile 100ML  £17.99

This little glass bottle is so full of goodness that I keep it in my hand bag, like a talisman, misting my face at anytime of the day or night when I need instant revitalising and plumping. It’s effective mainly because of the great combination of ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, delightfully summery citrus scented, green mandarin and neroli flower waters, orange mandarin peel oil with a calming base of camomile extract, all actively beautifying. Such a dreamy summer face product.

Organic Face Serum with Coffee Oil 30ML  £14.99

This is a feel-good product, full of active botanic ingredients that feed the skin and as its made only of oils, I followed UpCircle’s recommendation and applied it after my morning moisturiser, instead of my usual before, allowing it to make a seal. This maximises the benefits by increasing hydration during the day, making my skin look soft and peachy.

I like the texture of this rich, honey-like substance, which also sits well on it’s own as a nourishing night serum. It quietly tackled some of my least favourite aspects of skin ageing as I slept, letting me wake up with far less visible dark spots, and a more youthful, firmer and brighter complexion, always a good start to the day .
