Glass reviews Cienna Rose nail lacquer, the toxin-free vegan nail polish

CIENNA Rose is the one nail-polish brand you need to support. Priding itself on its 12-free formula, meaning their products do not contain the 12 of the toxins found in most nail polishes on the market.

Many of these toxins are linked to asthma irritation, nausea, and dizziness when inhaled. Worst of all, these toxins aren’t even necessary in nail polish for a glossy finish and long-wear, as once believed in the beauty industry. Cienna Rose proves this through their range of polishes, promising high-shine and full glossiness without the chemicals. The formulation is also completely vegan and cruelty-free, making it one of the friendliest nail-polish brands available.

Cienna Rose Enriched Nail Lacquer, Blue Me Away

I  tried out two Cienna Rose shades, and as I’m writing this up I’m happy to say I’m typing with some added glamour at my fingertips. The first colour I tried out was Blue Me Away, one of the brand’s best-selling shades, and I can see why. A gorgeous silver shimmer aquamarine shade, the lacquer adds some much needed glitz to your nails, with a gel-like finish and chip resistant formula. For me, long-wear is the most important thing in a nail polish, and this delivers.

Cienna Rose Enriched Nail Lacquer, Seductress

The second shade I put to the test is Seductress, a warm orange-toned red, and the perfect shade for summer. The formula is consistent with Blue Me Away – high-gloss, long-wear, and easy to apply. The colour pay-off is true to bottle, another pet-peeve of mine when buying nail polish. Needless to say, it’s definitely a shade I’ll keep by my side during the summer break.
