CLARE Waight Keller’s presents the Givenchy men and women’s pre-collection for Spring 2019 in a video with a seventies twist to it. The video is multi-faceted showing the connection between the collection and architecture, as well as emphasising the relationship with the Givenchy aesthetic and its surroundings. A playful juxtaposition between the sleek silhouettes of the Pre-collection and the structured, heavily textured backdrop creating a beautiful composition.

The seventies flare is in the retro-filming techniques reflecting the same vintage quality of the Super-8 films. The spring pre-collection is showcased against the backdrop of an urban- inspired minimalistic beat broken up with no sound or footsteps, formulating a sense of tension. Waight Keller’s Givenchy this season is a confident individual located in an urban environment, presented with an array of graphic prints and strong silhouettes oozing with sensuality.
