Glass is skin-confident after using the Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Express Fresh Moisturising Masks

IT is finally spring. While the season will bring a welcome change in weather, the sudden shifts in temperature can wreck havoc on your skin. These hard times should be met with a carefully thought-out skin regimen, one which is hydrating, but also meets your skins individual needs. A facial could be your saving grace, but not everyone can fit in a day at the Spa. For me especially, time is of the essence, so what better time to review Givenchy’s newest moisturising sheet face-mask?

Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Moisturising Mask

Released as part of the brand’s Hydra Sparkling range, the Express Fresh Moisturising Mask makes your beauty ritual quick and simple. Packaged in a conveniently compact container, there’s no worry about the rest of masks drying out a week or two in, while also causing significantly less waste than individually packaged sheet masks. Givenchy  created the collection with tiredness in mind, with its light moisturising and light energising technology. Enriched with sugars and amino acid derivatives, the mask aids your skin to retain water and stay moisturised. To apply, simply pull mask from pack, apply to face, ensure there’s no air bubbles, then wait 5 – 10 minutes before removal. Ensure you rub in the excess afterwards to ensure you get the most out of the masks benefits.

One problem I often find I run into with face-masks is that they’re uncomfortable. Either they make my skin sting or it starts to fall off. That’s one of the best things about the Givenchy Moisturising Sheet Mask; it’s easy to apply, doesn’t tingle, and stays applied throughout the full ten minutes. I even went downstairs and had a cup of tea without too much fuss, excluding some strange looks from my house-mates. The mask also smells fantastic, while not being obnoxiously overpowering or overwhelming.

Afterwards, I noticed my skin was much softer and seemed hydrated, and remained so over the next 24 hours or so. Much to my excitement, I also noticed that some redness I experience around my nose and chin had calmed down significantly. And because I was feeling more skin-confident, I was able to cut down on foundation and powder the next day.

Overall, I had a great experience using the Hydra Sparkling Express Fresh Moisturising Mask. It reduced some of my skin problems, and keep me moisturised without inflaming my acne. While this mask doesn’t do it all, it surely does what it promises.
