Glass has a 3D-dining experience at Mandarin Oriental Marrakech

THE WORLD’S smallest chef will be a star of the pop-up restaurant in Mandarin Oriental in Marrakech. Le Petit Chef is a unique dining experience, featuring cutting edge 3D visual technology that takes diners on a one-of-a-kind gourmet journey.

Available until May 4, 2019, diners will be able to enjoy the two-hour culinary adventure while the animated character Le Petit Chef travels through the tabletop screens. The story mimics the path of Marco Polo – from the icy air of the Himalayas to the heat of Arabic souks – in the search of  the best spices and ingredients across countries around the world. Moving from one culinary delight to the next, the entertaining evening with Le Petit Chef is a memorable experience to share with friends and family.

The interactive technology behind Le Petit Chef was developed by Belgian artists’ collective Skullmapping, founded by award-winning filmmaker Filip Sterckx and Antoon Verbeeck, in 2010. The artists behind creative light installations in museums and city streets have also embraced the art of fine dining. The miniature characters were born in the pursuit of creating most intimate environment, enhancing the virtual experiences with real props, soundtracks and scents.

The playful dining experience with Le Petit Chef will make your stay in Marrakech unforgettable.
