Glass Exclusive: Go behind the scenes with Kim Brown and Chanel Beauty Neapolis: New City and Rouge Coco Lip Blush

SHOT from behind the scenes of Glass Magazine’s Spring Issue beauty shoot with Chanel Beauty, beauty director Kim Brown reveals the goings-on of a  shoot with Dutch supermodel Annely Bouma. Exclusively using Chanel Beauty for the story, Kim Brown utilised the newly launched Neapolis: New City collection alongside the Rouge Coco Lip Blush to create new and intriguing looks on Bouma.

Created by Chanel Beauty’s global creative makeup and colour designer Lucia Pica, Neapolis: New City is a new range inspired by Pica’s hometown of Naples, bringing the city’s history with its unique ancient Greek and Roman influences to life in the collection.

Of the new collection, Kim said, “Neapolis: New City has bright beautifully coloured pigments with a lovely velvety texture. I particularly love the lip powder which has a gorgeous matt velvet finish.”

Newly launched for March, Chanel have debuted the Rouge Coco Lip Blush. Versatile and perfect for the women on the go, the product acts as a lightweight two-in-one lip and cheek blush. Brown says, “Rouge Coco Lip Blush has a natural but buildable colour for lips and cheeks. These are really pretty shades that blend easily on the cheeks and create a lovely stain on the lips.”

Exclusively for Glass, photographer Dan Smith shot model Annely Bouma in Neapolis: New City and Rouge Coco Lip Blush with looks created by Kim Brown.
