Omorovicza, Thermal Cleansing Balm

For my sensitive, easily dried-out skin, the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm is a skincare dream come true. Often after cleansing my face is left feeling parched and “tight” – none of this with this balm. I also love the texture and colour of the product. The brand’s SPF and masks are also excellent.

Lierac Hydragenist Moisturiser

Light to the touch and with a faint smell of rose, the Lierac Hydragenist moisturiser tackles dry and lifeless skin in a subtle and unobtrusive way. It sinks in quickly, leaves no messy residue and makes your skin feel hydrated and soft.

Gallinée, Prebiotic Face Vinegar

It was very hard to choose just one product from the microbiome queen Marie Drago’s wonderful Gallinée range – the hand cream and body cream are brilliant too. The Face Vinegar is a very effective lotion which gently balances and exfoliates the skin, perfectly preparing it for serums and moisturisers.

La Roche-Posay, Anthelios Pocket  Ultralight Fluid SPF50

Another brand from which it is almost impossible to pick just one winner, but the Anthelios Pocket  Ultralight Fluid SPF50 from the French dermatology company provides simply superb sun protection in a new handy bag-friendly size.

Sofia Latif, Face Oil

I’m addicted to the blend of skin-supporting oils in Sofia Latif Face Oil. I rely on Face Oil’s cleverly crafted blend of seven pure organic ingredients (sweet almond, rosehip, marula seed, moringa seed, pomegranate seed, jasmine and Bulgarian rose) to keep my skin supple, dewy and refreshed, while the delicate and uplifting fragrance never fails to relax me and lift my mood. For added feel-good factor, the sale of each product supports female entrepreneurs in low income countries through a micro-loan system.

L’Oréal, Elvive Extraordinary Oil Low Shampoo

After years of pushing the limits of bleach, they finally took their toll. L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Low Shampoo is the singular thing I attribute to saving my hair from the brink. A cleansing conditioner that genuinely transformed the texture and quality of my hair, it gifted me my longest and healthiest hair ever.

Glamglow, Supermud Clearing Treatment

Very few things can actually remove blackheads, but Glamglow’s signature Supermud treatment is the most effective remedy I’ve yet to try. The powerful charcoal mask actually delivers on the claims of so many other similar products; it draws out impurities, mattifies, and refines pores. Plus, it makes a great overnight spot treatment in a pinch.

Zelens, Power A High Potency Vitamin A Treatment Drops

Retinol is one of the proven highly effective pillars of skincare, but, my oh my, it is a tricky thing to use (causing, as it often does, while it works its magic, temporarily flaky or sore skin). I have tried many and this treatment from Zelens is my favourite as it brightens and improves skin tone and reduces fine lines without any discomfort at all.

Garden of Wisdom, Mandelic-Acid-10-Serum

The recent trend for single-ingredient skincare products at bargain prices has to be commended and one of our favourite ranges is Garden of Wisdom. Again, it is hard to pick our favourite from the range but this mandelic acid serum gives great gentle exfoliation.

Augustinus Bader, The Cream

I can’t praise this moisturiser highly enough. Rich without being greasy, The Cream is packed with active ingredients that really work. Delivering instant results of hydration and brightness, it gets to work the second it is blended into the skin.

St Tropez, Self Tan Purity Body Mousse

This revolutionary transparent tan with a tropical scent secures a natural-looking tan that lasts for days. It is incredibly lightweight, dries quickly and it doesn’t need to be washed off. Plus it’s completely vegan and works well with my sensitive skin. Prepping for legs-out weather has never been easier.

Image Skincare, Vital C Hydrating Overnight Masque

Finally, an overnight masque that is mess-free, long-lasting and truly delivers water to the skin! Made with blue-green algae extract, the Vital C masque offers a natural retinoid alternative. Hematite and malachite smooths and nourishes your skin whilst you sleep to leave you with glowing, stress-free skin in the morning.

Guerlain, Abeille Royale Cure de la Reine

The application of the product is like a ritual . You have to take some 15 bead-like pearls containing the Royal Jelly, place them in the small pouches that come with the treatment and apply gently on your face. Instantly you feel the freshness and the skin is plumped. It also smells delicious with a warm honey scent, which is the work of Thierry Wasser, nose of Maison Guerlain.
