The world’s first airport bar from Fortnum & Mason has arrived at Terminal 5, London Heathrow, offering a new eating and drinking experience for discerning travellers. Located adjacent to the newly opened Fortnum & Mason store, The Bar is scheduled to raise the standards of airport dining to new heights and can be found “airside” after security.
Informal, yet stylish as one would expect from Fortnum’s, the menu offers a stunning selection of dishes with the emphasis firmly on fresh produce found at Fortnum’s celebrated food halls. Also on offer are champagnes, fine wines, cocktails, spirits, fresh juices, coffee and Fortnum’s famous tea.
Fortnum’s CEO, Ewan Venters, comments, “Heathrow is the UK’s hub airport and the first impression of the country for more than 35 million passengers a year. At Fortnum’s we have three centuries’ experience of serving customers travelling the globe, so it’s fitting we should now serve passengers flying to some of the world’s most glamorous locations, including the likes of New York, Hong Kong, Istanbul, and of course, Dubai.”
