Fendi releases episode six of #Me&MyPeekaboo starring Ami and Aya

THE #Me&MyPeekaboo campaign celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Peekaboo bag and hones in on family ties, kicking the campaign off with one of the most famous families in the world – The Kardashians. The iconic designer bag has been passed on from generation to generation and from mother to daughter to sister and Fendi sets out to commemorate these female relationships.

Kris, Kim and daughter North were featured in the first instalment of the campaign, showcasing the essence of motherly love in a intimate setting. In the sixth instalment of Me & My Peekaboo, Fendi highlights sisterly love as Japanese twins Ami and Aya share their love for each other and Fendi against an equally ambient backdrop set in the French capital.

Starting their careers as models, walking for brands of the likes of Dolce and Gabbana and being featured in multiple publications such as Vogue, the twins branched out into music both as singers and DJs where they made a name for themselves in the J-pop scene. By establishing themselves as multi-talented fashionistas they soon became symbols for the Japanese harajuku-fashion.

Building on their success they launched their own fashion brand jouetie, which took the fashion world by storm.  As sisters – twins no less – they brought Japanese fashion to the rest of the world so it does not come as a surprise that the Italian fashion house has recruited them to feature in this campaign, as there is no stronger bond than sistershood.
