To celebrate the release of Edmund De Waal, Gagosian Shop will be holding a book signing with the artist himself this week. Published by Phaidon, the fully illustrated volume presents a complete survey of de Waal’s work to date, including images of full installations and major exhibitions. It also contains personal writings by the artist, as well as images that offer insight into his studio practices. Contributors include novelists A.S. Byatt, Peter Carey, and Colm Tóibín. The book signing precedes a lecture by de Waal at the Metropolitan Museum of Art the same evening at 6pm.
