Culti Milano launch ‘Oficus reed diffusers

I MET the very relaxed and elegant Alessandro Agrati founder of Italian interior fragrance company Culti Milano earlier this year when he introduced the brand to the UK press and was immediately captivated by ‘Oficus which is now – to my delight – available in the UK. Agrati is, in fact, an interior designer and the Culti Milano philosophy is based on the very Italian principles of just using a few select high quality ingredients – or flavours (like basil and tomatoes, for instance, in cooking) with no unnecessary complications to create perfection.

It was, in fact, Agrati who discovered that when working with some wicker baskets that reeds are ideal for retaining fragrance and was the first to create reed diffusers.

There are now around 20 scents in the line, which was set up in 1990, and which now includes candles, sprays, body creams, soaps and even now perfumes. All of them smell delicious, are very high quality and are also longlasting.

The recent fragrance the gorgeous ‘Oficus is composed of the green note of the fig as well as vanilla and sandalwood – simple, subtle and sublime. A delightful way to fragrance your living or even working space.
