LC:M Christopher Raeburn SS15

Soaring with style, parachuting with valiant aplomb, Christopher Raeburn made his LC:M mark quickly on day one. Raeburn studio and their long-running utilisation of all things utility worked very well today, drawing on a creed that went along the lines of  “reduce, reuse and recycle” inspired by industrial militant aviation.

So get ready, and get set, for flight-suits to bring out the fighter pilot in each and all. For the most part, the geometry of SS15 hinged on outerwear, for springy summertime that is, but trans-seasonal lightweight bombers, perforated gilets and heavy use of translucent plastics set against muted floral ensembles defined multi-function.

The Raeburn man will slip into this seasons pieces with considerable ease for sure, the soft collarless tailoring and softer Japanese fabric features made that clear, swaddled in lax lithe quilting all the while. Running its course splendidly, Top Gun-worthy pilot suits gone haywire with networks of bungee cable embellishments ended the show on an exciting note that will continue to peak more and more interest.
