INSPIRED by Gabrielle Chanel’s beloved lion imagery, Chanel launches Collection Libre, a limited edition collection which captures the gold and grandeur of the winter season. Comprised of cosmetics for the eyes, lips, and face, Collection Libre includes intense reds, golds and burgundy shades, encapsulating the festivity and rich colour palette of Christmas.
Released in time for the run up toChristmas parties, the collection features the luminous and metallic formulated Ombre Premiere eyeshadows, as well as a new shade of the acclaimed Rouge Allure lipstick. Products for the face include Le Lion de Chanel, an exclusive champagne gold highlight, showcasing the stunning imprinted detailing of a lion. Chanel’s Global Creative Make up and Colour Designer Lucia Pica describes Gabrielle Chanel’s bespoke lion as the inspiration for the collection, explaining ‘By pinpointing and intensely researching a classic symbol of the House, I’m able to invest those existing images and ideas with new energy and spirit’.
