The JFC Festive Feasting Basket

Since KFC’s arrival in Japan in 1974, branding itself as “Kentucky for Christmas”, tucking into a bucket of KFC has become a Christmas tradition celebrated by over 3.6 million people in Japan every year. Inspired by this phenomenon, founder of Flesh & Buns Ross Shonhan has decided to bring a taste of Japan back home – with a gourmet twist.

CakeThe Chocolate Nikka Whisky Cake

Customers will be treated to the foodie version of a chicken bucket with a delicious steamer basket of half a buttermilk and shichimi fried chicken with BBQ mayonnaise, accompanied by a green salad and Flesh & Bun’s famous gua bao buns. The festive set menu for two also includes an indulgent chocolate Nikka whisky cake, washed down with a luscious Nagasaki whisky shake, made of shisho leaf ice cream, Buffalo Trace bourbon and banana liquor. With a spread this tempting, we might be reconsidering our default Christmas turkey.
