BULGARI and Ambush Creative Director, Yoon Ahn, collaborate to create a unique Serpenti bag capsule collection. Entitled Serpenti through the Eyes of Ambush, the collection is born out of the exciting collaboration between a Roman luxury brand and a brilliant visionary who is at the forefront of a new wave of female designers.
As the latest chapter of the Serpenti through the Eyes of … series, the Ambush x Bulgari collection presents an unprecedented interpretation of the timeless Serpenti Forever bag, joining the ranks of Alexander Wang and Nicholas Kirkwood.

Bringing to her designs an open mind and diverse creativity, Ahn is famed for her real-life inspired creations with high-end touch. Having dressed the likes of Kanye West and Skepta, the Tokyo-based designer now challenges herself with a new venture:
“For this capsule collection I wanted to express the bold and contemporary character of Serpenti. Snakes are wondrous and fascinating creatures of nature but with Bulgari they also became a symbol of glamour in constant evolution. Natural beauty meets human creation, all guided by a contemporary aesthetic.”

To celebrate the launch, Bulgari and Ambush have enlisted a cast of familiar faces and rising stars. Models Bella Hadid, Xiao Wen, and Ellen Rosa star in images captured by photographer Tyler Mitchell, one of the most closely watched talents in image-making today. A driving force in the fashion industry, Carlos Nazario led the creative styling, highlighting the shapes, colour and wearability of the unique collection.
The inspiration of the campaign brings to life a collection that is inspired by the beauty and mystery of nature, expressing the audacious yet iconic character of the Serpenti. Drawing inspiration from the Tree Python of South East Asia, a species celebrated for it striking, artificial-looking colours and fascinating movements, Ahn has designed three new styles: the Serpenti shoulder bag, the versatile Serpenti belt bag, and the dangerously tempting Serpenti Minaudière.

Each style of the Ambush x Bulgari collection is adorned with a camouflaged snakehead closure. Dressed in matching Napa Leather for a total monochromatic look and embellished with unforeseen eyes in mother-of-pearl for the black renditions and in black onyx for the coloured ones, the time-honoured symbol of the collection is refreshed with a modern twist.
Ahn’s urban-glam touch also extends to an array of irresistible accessories – a heart-shaped coin case, three different credit card holders singed with the Bulgari Ambush logo and a three-coil Serpenti bracelet in coloured Napa leather and metallic snakehead complement the collection with their cutting-edge flair.
