Bottega Veneta’s Pre-Spring 2020 Collection

CREATIVE DIRECTOR Daniel Lee presents the contemporary wardrobe of Bottega Veneta’s Pre-Spring 2020 collection. Continuation, evolution, refinement – three keywords that define this line, where shapes and concepts cross between genders to created a 2.0 version of Bottega Veneta.

The refined Italian tradition of the brand meets a modern aesthetic with its fluid fabrics and geometric yet malleable shapes. The classic suits take an elongated, oversized shape and are accentuated by standout accessories, seemingly cutting through the fabrics to make a statement. Staying connected to the heritage of the House, this collection expands both choice and language of Bottega Veneta.

Yet, the pieces in the collection remain highly functional. Knitted dressed and pullovers warmly wrap the body, while the robust outwear testifies the practicality and strength of the clothing. Glass particularly likes the trenchcoat-jumpsuit combination that so vividly exemplifies both functionality, assertiveness and elegance of the collection.

The prominent intrecciato leather and knitwear, two areas of Bottega Veneta expertise, are widely used in both clothing and accessories. After all, both materials represent something constructed from itself – an idea that permeates the collection.

Offered in the shades of sandstone, natural hues of pistachio, limoncello and sage green, alongside harmonious black and white contrast, the pieces align to create an elevated luxury. Precise and considered, the Spring 2020 line offers a new take on your classic wardrobe.
