Bottega Veneta relaunch Bottega for Bottegas initiative

HOW many times can you say “Bottega” in a row? As a continuation of last years very exciting initiative, the Italian leather connoisseurs Bottega Venetta have extended their promotion of independent brands by giving fourteen artisans the chance to showcase their work with one of the most visible luxury houses in the world.

With the word “bottega” essentially translating to “workshop,” the Bottega for Bottegas project is more than just fun word play. Though last year, the Maison focused purely on Italian artisans, the invitation has since been opened to the entire world, exploring an eclectic variation of different crafts, from food to ceramics and more.

This year fourteen bottegas, originating in China, Japan and the United States, will be granted the opportunity to show their very best of their craft, whether it be winemaking, woodwork or gelato, to name but a few.

The project will be supported by a series of bespoke displays on the Bottega Veneta website, in store windows, newsletters and even with a very special homage in Bergdorf Goodman in New York.
