Bottega Veneta opens its first cafe in Osaka

ITALIAN luxury brand Bottega Veneta has announced the opening of its first cafe in Osaka, Japan. The Bottega Café will become the first venture of the brand’s creative director Daniel Lee into hospitality since his appointment back in July 2018.

Designed around the concept of lightness, the interior of the cafe is purposefully contrasting: while the main bar is rocking Bottega blue and the cafe tables are crafted in sunshine yellow, the exterior of the cafe remains calm-toned. The finishing touch was delivered in a form of intrecciato weave spotted in the seating area of the cafe.

As Bottega Café accentuates the intrinsic qualities of the Italian luxury brand, its menu also incorporates elements of Italian cuisine. While it offers a range of soft drinks and desserts, the main feature is undoubtedly its selection of wines, which comprises bottles exclusively from Veneto, a region where Bottega Veneta was founded back in 1966.

The Bottega Café is located at the Hankyu Men department store and is easily accessible through the Bottega Veneta boutique on the second floor. Hankyu Men incorporates luxury and street fashion from both local and international designers and is recognised as one of the best department stores for shopping in Japan.
