Backstage beauty at Palmer//Harding by Make Up For Ever

GLASS went backstage at the Palmer//Harding AW18 runway show during LFW to check out the beauty looks for the show by make-up artist Rebecca Wordingham, using cosmetic brand Make Up For Ever products. The model’s look started with an androgynous base of pulled-back hair and a neutral face, achieved using Ultra HD Foundation, Ultra HD Concealer and Ultra HD Pressed Powder for a velvet skin finish. The face is given definition using Make Up For Ever’s Artist Face Color Blush, Highlight and Sculpt Shades and Pro Bronze Fusion.

Our attention, however, focused solely on the eyes as models sported bold eyeshadow using various Make Up For Ever products. The vibrant orange uses MUFA’s Aqua XL Colour Paint in M70 Matte Orange. The blue uses MUFA’s Artist Colour Pencil in 206 Blue Away and the green uses the Colour stick in M302 Leaf Green. The finished look is complete with Artist Rouge Light, for the faint lip effect.

The minimalist beauty style perfectly reflects the juxtaposition of masculinity and femininity seen in Palmer//Hardings AW18 collection, as the paired back face and slick hair makes for an androgynous aesthetic but the bold use of colour brings a playful, flamboyant edge.
