24-hour diner opens in Bloomsbury

Vq has just opened its second restaurant offering food and drinks 24 hours a day, near London’s Tottenham Court Road. Brunch at lunch, a burger thirst at 2am or an all-day breakfast as the sun goes down, VQ has a wide menu of diner-style fare available round the clock. Burgers, meatballs, pasta, sandwiches and salads are under £10. Mains of lamb, grilled salmon and rib-eye steak are less than £20. If home comforts are what you’re looking for, there are omelettes, pancakes and porridge … even jelly and ice cream.
The informal restaurant is on the ground floor of the St Giles Hotel
The first VQ, previously known as Vingt-Quatre, opened 18 years ago on Chelsea’s Fulham Road. And be aware, although the menu is the same day and night, night prices are slightly higher. Champagne, wine, beer and cocktails are available from 8 am to 2 am every day.
