Winter 2014 issue of Glass magazine – issue 20 – Destiny available now

We are very pleased to announce that Glass Magazine issue 20, with the theme of Destiny, can now be found on newsstands and in shops across the world and is also available to order.

Destiny is a perplexing and somewhat troubling concept, and one which strikes at the very heart of our being. It throws up some very difficult questions. Do we have a purpose in life? Is there a predestined path for each of us and we are simply helpless walkers along it? It’s uncomfortable thinking, isn’t it? To gain an insight into these complex issues, we interview Dr Stanley Hauerwas, described as America’s best theologian, British psychoanalyst Christopher Bollas and John Edward, one of the America’s foremost psychic mediums.

Also in the issue, Glass also speaks to some of China’s leading chefs and food writers, who explain how their food is going back to its roots and that in order to succeed they will have to rewrite the Western-written rule book on fine dining.

In addition to this, we present the best of the men’s and women’s winter and cruise collections and take a lesson in gentlemanly dressing from some of the art world’s leading names.

In art, we meet Subodh Gupta, the fascinating Indian artist and in our space section we talk to Japanese architect Go Hasegawa. Finally, for this issue’s humanitarian feature we interview Caring for Cambodia founder, Jamie Amelio, who tells us her astounding story of how a holiday to Cambodia led her to set up the country’s largest independent school network.

We hope you are intrigued enough to explore issue 20 which we hope you will thoroughly enjoy.
