Supreme announces collaboration with Nan Goldin

STREETWEAR giant Supreme has announced its upcoming capsule collection in collaboration with American photographer Nan Goldin. Known for its collaborations-most notably with Louis Vuitton-Supreme has previously collaborated with artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Malcom McLaren and Damien Hirst.

Nan Goldin is known for her deeply personal portraiture, documenting her life and the people around her, especially LGBT individuals. In the late ‘70s, she began presenting her images as slideshows nightclubs around New York. A collection of her work, The Ballad of Sexual Dependency documented the love and loss in New York during the AIDs epidemic in the ‘80s. She’s currently lives between Berlin and New York, producing work addressing the ongoing opioid epidemic. The Supreme collection includes pieces such as a Coaches jacket, hooded sweatshirts, three short sleeved t-shirts and three skateboards featuring Goldin’s work.

The collection will be available in stores in London, New York, Brooklyn, LA, Paris and online on March 29. It will be released later on March 31 in Japan.
