Raf Simons/Sterling Ruby release A/W 2014/15 campaign

Raf Simons and Sterling Ruby released their Autumn/Winter 2014 campaign only recently and it’s nothing short of the typically reticent iconoclast material that we all expected. The fourth creative alliance between Simons and Los Angeles based artist Ruby sees model Luca Lemaire behind Belgium photographer Willy Vanderperre’s lens donning a number of gritty acid-splash print garments from the one-off capsule collection under the Simons/Ruby moniker.

Styled by Oliver Rizzo and shot in Antwerp, the look-book sums up Sterling and Simon’s unified vision nicely, one of deconstruction – cold, hard industrial punk and candid D.I.Y anti-utopianism (via ed). Just be careful calling it collaboration though, something tells me that ‘collab’ might rub all of those involved the wrong way.
