There was definitely something wintery missing from Vanessa Bruno’s show at Paris Fashion Week. For the Parisienne designer, AW14, was played as a pre-collection of the cold yet to come.
The looks were mainly composed of beautiful sundresses, sheer fabrics and some bermudas styled with sandals, which seem very season inappropriate. The palette of colours from crisp whites to vivid blues and khaki greens didn’t help either.
Nevertheless some pieces were eye-catching such as the leopard print trench-coat, the aviator bomber jackets, some in see-through fabrics, the turtlenecks pared with embroidered mini-skits and the pointy man-shoes.
