Plaza de la Torre, the heart of the resort, resembles an authentic Mallorcan village square, with a grand clock tower taking centre stage, from where the hotel’s four restaurants can be reached.

The sumptuous breakfast buffet in the casual, relaxed atmosphere of the Balearic Restaurant offers guests the choice of indoor or al fresco dining. For the remainder of the day, the menu consists of a large choice of Mediterranean dishes, with most ingredients sourced locally. The speciality of the house is the huge selection of freshly barbequed fish and seafood, with heaps of crisp mixed salad and brightly coloured grilled vegetable accompaniments.

The Tapas Bar is home to an extensive wine cellar, offering local Spanish fare in swanky surroundings, giving a super-cool vibe to this trendy space. A spacious open bar area allows inquisitive guests to enjoy viewing the food and beverages being prepared, adjacent to the floor-to-ceiling glass display fridges filled with cheeses of every shape and size.

For a quick coffee and a pastry, the Café Sa Plaça is a spacious informal all-day dining café, serving the most sumptuous comfort food with a wonderful display of irresistible cakes and pastries.

Asia, the formal restaurant offering Eastern cuisine takes its décor inspiration from an Asian private villa, with its breath-taking glass light fittings and colourful pieces of art creating a truly authentic atmosphere. There is also a private dining area, for guests to enjoy a more intimate experience.

Facilities at the resort include a landscaped, graduated poolside terrace featuring three pools – two large pools and a separate kids play and pool area. There is also a kid’s club, with plenty of staff on hand to ensure children are amused throughout the day.

The sprawling tranquillity of the light and breezy Serenitas Spa with its oversized treatment rooms allows guests to enjoy views of the surrounding manicured gardens and across the Serra De Llevant mountains after their relaxing treatments, many of which feature locally produced therapeutic oils and minerals.

Located in the remote and tranquil north-east of this picturesque island within the Cap Vermell Estate, the Park Hyatt Mallorca is adjacent to a brand new Country Club, to which guests have access. There is also a choice of four local golf courses, all within easy reach of the resort, and the close-by Cap Vermell Beach Club offers water sports to the more energetic holiday makers.

If an ultra-modern and relaxing luxurious resort-vacation with a very wide choice of amenities is what you are looking for, the Park Hyatt Resort, Mallorca will certainly deliver.
