In the latest in our series, Glass catches up with 21-year old model, Aly Turska from Wroclaw, Poland who is with Profile Model Management London.
How did you become a model?
I went with my mum to an agency that she had worked with.
Who is your favourite designer?
Alexander McQueen was a real genius and creative mind. Now I really enjoy Alexander Wang’s work.
What do you wear on your days off?
Leggings/ jeans with a t-shirt, leather jacket and some cool sneakers.
What book, movie or song means the most to you?
I cannot not pick just one. There is so many amazing ones.
Who are your heroes in life?
I appreciate anyone who’s honest and humble, works hard in life and tries to achieve something by themselves.
What is your present state of mind?
Positive but still a little confused.
What is your idea of happiness?
Just being able to enjoy my life – travelling as much as I can and trying new things. Also doing something that matters and having great people around me that I can share my experiences with.
How would you like to be perceived by others?
Funny, intelligent, someone nice to be around to.
If you were not a model, what would you be?
An athlete or art director maybe. Actually, I can still be anything.
What advice do you have for other models?
Always be professional but don’t take it too seriously though. Enjoy it as much as you can.
