Giorgio Armani AW15 menswear show at Milan Fashion week was a multicultural interplay adorned in winter bold colours and wearable formality.
Featuring a “twin” style motif, once again, boys matched out in pairs with girly silhouettes in an androgynous look alike style comprised of velvet blazers, high-waist 1930s grey trousers and collar jackets. The show was a party of luxurious textiles ranged from cashmere, crocodile skin leather to fur and velvet materials while the colour palette was a mixture of bold brown tones, ice grey, antique blue and olive green.
The turtleneck sweater matched with sophisticated vests and the classic and striped tuxedos was where the Asian businessman look met the mediterranean intellectual temper, while genuine Russian-style fur hats, and leather hats resembling Byzantine emperors emphasised this multicultural co-existence.
With this collection, the Italian maestro, created a show cross-pollination of fabrics smartening-up the everyday wearability.
