Once again, Prada AW15 blended genders showing both menswear and womenswear on the same stage with a very ‘90s back-to-black show at Milan Fashion Week.
With a serious colour palette of black, navy blue and grey, the show gave a nod to a slight school-uniform feel with collar shirts buttoned to the top for the boys and little black dresses for the girls matched with bovver boots and briefcase-like bags.
All the looks simple, clear and very beautifully tailored were dominated mainly by nylon garments, cotton coats, classy tuxedos in dark hues, and black dresses with deep-V necklines covered by silk scarves and bows as embellishment. The minimal dark shades offering an elegant plain look were playfully disturbed only by a plaid cotton coat with high belt and some hints of sandy brown garments.
Miuccia Prada unfolding the various relationships between the way men and women can dress offered a mysterious and pleasurable show to challenge again the freedom of interpretation.
