Louis Vuitton unveils their Place Vendôme flagship store in Paris

ARCHITECT Peter Marino merges two historic Parisian mansions at Place Vendôme to create an extravagant new Louis Vuitton flagship store, honouring the founder’s Parisian beginnings. Returning the four floors to their 18th Century grandeur, originally designed by the architect of the Palace of Versailles Jules Hardouin-Mansart, the spacious arena of luxury combines the building and brands heritage with ultra-modern designs.

Flooding with natural light, the store set within the heart of Paris, the store features archival trunks, leather-lined shelving and references to French craftsmanship that makes for a fresh space – quintessential Louis Vuitton.

Combining the past and present to prove forever relevant comes naturally to Louis Vuitton, evidential through the harmonious blend in influences of art, fashion and architecture within the four-tier boutique.
